The Records Section is responsible for maintaining all offense, incident, and arrest records generated by the UNT Police Department.

CRASH REPORTS:

TxDOT is the official repository for completed crash reports. For individuals and insurance companies needing a copy of a crash report (TxDOT CR-3 form), please go to https://cris.dot.state.tx.us/public/Purchase/ . Be aware your report may not be available up to 14 days from when the report was taken, although most are available within 3-5 days. If you need further assistance, contact us using the info below.

PUBLIC REPORTS:

Public copies of reports are available during normal business hours and provided to the requesting party for a $5 charge (EXACT CASH ONLY). Payment can be accepted in person only at the Sullivant Public Safety Center (NO CREDIT CARDS). Reports may not be available until 24-48 hours after they were taken. Public copies contain limited information, such as the “who, what, where, when” details of the incident, and may be redacted to mask private information.
