The UNT Police Department believes in using proactive measures to promote safety, and responding in a thoughtful and respectful manner to our community members in need.

With a greater push across the nation for police accountability, we feel it is important to outline some key policies that have historically been a part of our department and which we will continue to uphold. These policies align with the 8 Can't Wait campaign initiative.

These are just a few examples of our commitment to the safety of our UNT students, faculty, staff and visitors. We have a dedicated Community Policing program to support and work with the UNT community. We hope you will take some time to review our Campus Safety Programs and connect with our Community Policing Officer for more information.
