Responding to an Active Shooter

The University of North Texas Police Department along with the Emergency Management and Safety Services team hosted "Responding to an Active Shooter" training conducted at the University Union Lyceum on September 24, 2019.  This training was led by Sgt. Kevin Crawford.

In this training session, attendees are given the skills and knowledge on how to survive an Active Shooter Incident.

The Active Shooter Presentation covers the following topics:

  • Run - Hide - Fight
  • How to respond when Law Enforcement Arrives.
  • Recognizing signs of workplace violence.
